About the Finance Committee
The Finance Committee reviews and makes recommendations for expenditure of funds and budget policies, assesses the efficiency of the grantee in rapidly allocating funds to the areas of greatest need, and conducts other activities as assigned by the Planning Council. This committee also plans and oversees the process for the allocation and reallocation of Part A funds.
The Finance Committee recently finished working along with the Comprehensive Planning and Needs Assessment Committees to plan service priorities for the Philadelphia EMA. They are currently facilitating regional allocations meetings.
This committee meets on the first Thursday of the month from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. Please see the calendar for upcoming meeting information.
