Supporting the Philadelphia Region's Community Health Planning for HIV Care and Prevention Welcome to the website of the Office of HIV Planning, a sub-division of the Health Commissioner's Office, Department of Public Health in Philadelphia. We support the activities of two decision-making bodies, the Philadelphia EMA Ryan White Part A Planning Council and the Philadelphia Prevention Community Planning Group (CPG), that are responsible for planning HIV care and prevention services in the Philadelphia region. We also assist the Positive Committee, a group that supports and enhances the participation of people living with HIV in the community planning process through educational activities and outreach. As a part of the work done to support the efforts of the planning bodies, the Office conducts needs assessment activities, produces literature reviews, organizes community outreach and educational activities, completes comprehensive plans, records and monitors official processes (including meeting minutes), collaborates with the AIDS Activity Coordinating Office (AACO) and other community and governmental organizations, and provides all the logistical and administrative support for the bodies.
All meetings are open to the public. Please feel free to join us.
